HOW TO MAKE RESTAURANT LIKE CRISPY CHILLI POTATO AT HOME

Crispy chilli potato is an Indo-Chinese cuisine dish, which is prepared in Manchurian and chilli sauce. Mostly, these sauces are added with other vegetables or meats because they provide crispness to the dish but in India, we also love these sauces with potato.

Crispy Chilli potatoes are the favourite of everyone because of their crispy property and sweet and spicy taste. You can serve this Dish as the starter at a small house party or as the main dish in Indo-Chinese cuisine.

so without any further discussion let's jump to the main part which is the recipe to cook this delicious and healthy dish.

INGREDIENTS

    for Crispy finger fries

    1. 2-3 potato
    2. 1 cup cornflour
    3. water
    4. oil (for deep fry)
     for Chilli Potato
  1. 1 inch Ginger (finely chopped)
  2. 5-6 Garlic Clove (finely chopped)
  3. 2 onion (Sliced)
  4. 1 Capsicum (sliced)
  5. 1 Carrot (diced cut)
  6. 2-3 tbsp oil
  7. 2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
  8. 2 tbsp Green Chilli sauce
  9. 2 tbsp schezwan sauce
  10. 1 tbsp salt
  11. 1 tbsp Black pepper powder
  12. 1/4 Red chilli powder
  13. 1/2 tbsp vinegar
INSTRUCTIONS

    For Crispy Potato fries
  1. take the potatoes and cut them into potato fingers.
  2. Now transfer those fingers into a big and wide Kadhai or Vessel.
  3. Next, sprinkle corn flour, some water and start mixing them.
  4. when cornflour sticks to the potato and makes a light coat, keep it aside.
  5. Start heating oil for deep frying.
  6. Add potato fingers to oil and deep fry until turns golden or half-cooked.
  7. Take them out from the oil and keep them aside for 10-15 minutes.
    for Chilli Potato
  1. take a kadhai, add oil and start heating up.
  2. On the other hand, turn on the flame of oil for deep frying the fingers a second time for better crisp.
  3. Add onion, capsicum, carrot and saute until cooked while maintaining crispiness.
  4. Now, add 2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup, 2 tbsp Green Chilli sauce, 2 tbsp schezwan sauce, salt, red chilli powder, black pepper powder and start mixing well.
  5. When the sauce is ready, add the deep-fried crispy potato fingers in sauce, 1 tbsp vinegar.
  6. Keep sauteing and tossing until everything is mixed well.
    
When everything is mixed well, turn off the flame and now the final step is to serve the crispy Chilli potato. Do not forget to garnish with chopped spring onion.
